Join us at for a relaxing ladies night out at the HR-57 Center for the Preservation of Jazz Blues. HR-57 takes its name from a House Resolution first passed by congress in 1987. This resolution (H.Con.Res 57) designated jazz as "a rare and valuable national American treasure". A place where newbie musicians and Jazz legends perform under the same roof this is a space where it’s truly all about the art of music. Sunday evenings are designated Jam Sessions. These sessions are an old Jazz tradition where musicians play long sets of improvised music all the while pushing each other’s musical boundaries to their limits. This venue allows visitors to bring their own wine for a small corking fee of $3 and serves food like their signature red bean and rice dish.
